Instalar BulbSync en una M5StickS3

Install BulbSync on an M5StickS3

Conecta la placa por USB y pulsa Instalar. Tarda alrededor de un minuto y no instala nada en el ordenador.

Connect the board over USB and press Install. It takes about a minute and installs nothing on the computer.

Conectar la placa

Connect the board

Con un cable USB-C de datos. Al pulsar Instalar, el navegador pide elegir el puerto, que suele aparecer como «USB JTAG/serial debug unit».

With a USB-C data cable. After pressing Install, the browser asks which port to use; it usually appears as “USB JTAG/serial debug unit”.

El navegador escribe el firmware

The browser writes the firmware

Borra la placa y escribe el firmware, con su propia barra de progreso. No desconectes el cable: la pantalla parpadea y la placa se reinicia sola al terminar.

It erases the board and writes the firmware, with its own progress bar. Don't unplug the cable: the screen flickers and the board restarts on its own when it finishes.

El Stick muestra su nombre y queda a la espera del móvil. El resto de la configuración se hace por Bluetooth.

The Stick shows its name and waits for the phone. The rest of the setup happens over Bluetooth.

Al terminar, la placa se reinicia y muestra su nombre, que es el que se busca desde la app.

When it finishes, the board restarts and shows its name, which is what you will look for in the app.

Instalación terminada.Installation finished. Abre BulbSync en el móvil, activa «Usar BulbSync Stick» en Ajustes y pulsa Añadir Stick. Teclea el código de seis dígitos que aparecerá en la pantalla del Stick. Open BulbSync on your phone, turn on “Use BulbSync Stick” in Settings and tap Add Stick. Type the six-digit code shown on the Stick's screen.
Mantén pulsado el botón de encendido de la placa para entrar en modo de grabación, comprueba que el cable transmite datos y vuelve a pulsar Instalar. Tienes más detalles justo abajo. Muchos cables USB-C solo cargan. Si el ordenador no ve la placa, ese suele ser el motivo.

Many USB-C cables only charge. If your computer can't see the board, that's usually why.

En un ordenador. Safari, Firefox y los navegadores de iPhone no pueden acceder al USB.

La instalación borra la placa entera y sustituye el firmware de fábrica de M5Stack. Necesitarás BulbSync Pro en la app para terminar la puesta en marcha.
Installing erases the whole board and replaces M5Stack's factory firmware. You'll need BulbSync Pro in the app to finish setting it up.

El navegador no encuentra la placa The browser can't find the board
Prueba otro cable USB-C: si solo carga, la placa no aparece. Si sigue sin salir, mantén pulsado el botón de encendido de la placa para entrar en modo de grabación y vuelve a pulsar Instalar. Try another USB-C cable: charge-only cables won't show the board. If it still doesn't appear, hold the board's power button to enter download mode and press Install again.
La instalación se corta a mitad The installation stops halfway
No pasa nada: la placa admite empezar de cero tantas veces como haga falta. Vuelve a pulsar Instalar sin desconectar el cable. No harm done: the board can start over as many times as needed. Press Install again without unplugging the cable.
Instalé y la pantalla sigue en negro I installed it and the screen stays black
Pulsa una vez el botón de encendido: la placa puede estar apagada. Si enciende y no aparece «BulbSync», instala otra vez desde esta misma página. Press the power button once: the board may be switched off. If it turns on and “BulbSync” doesn't appear, install again from this page.
Quiero volver al firmware de M5Stack I want M5Stack's firmware back
